Abstract

Noise has great influence on the time series signal analysis for aeroengine. To eliminate the measured noise, the local projective noise reduction is applied first. And then the consistence of the method is tested by means of estimating the correlation dimension of Henon map trajectory after noise reduction. It is proved that the method is effective to reproduce the nonlinear invariant parameters such as correlation dimension. The aeroengine signal is processed, and its correlation dimension is estimated accurately, which can describe the nonlinear characteristics properly and can be used to classify different faults.
