Abstract

This paper concerns the problem of non-fragile fault-tolerant control for the longitudinal dynamics of an airbreathing hypersonic vehicle under external disturbances. And a corresponding non-fragile adaptive fault-tolerant control scheme is proposed for the longitudinal dynamics. In this approach, two adaptive laws are employed to estimate the minimum value of the actuation effectiveness factor and the upper bound of external disturbances, respectively. For the designers, the real minimum value of the actuation effectiveness factor and the upper bound of external disturbances are not required to be known in advance, then the robustness to the actuator faults and external disturbances is guaranteed. Simulation results are given to show the effectiveness of the proposed method finally.
