Abstract

A new type of non-silicon thin film grid pressure sensor was brought forward and devised to detect and measure the pressure distribution between the bodies's touching surfaces of hemiplegies patient. The sensor was made out by utilizing the detecting principle of solid column pressure sensor and the screen printing typography. The sensor which totally measuring thickness was 0. 32 mm had the following characters: exactly gauging, quickly responding, visually displaying, ultra-thinning, well wearing, and repeatedly reusing. By test and analysis, its result displayed that this sensor could detect out the pressure distribution between touching surfaces quickly and visually. And, the non-silicon thin film grid pressure sensor could supply new studying approaches for the fields of biomedicine, body rehabilitation, and automobile and so on.
