New type of in-column condenser and evaporator used in large and super-scale air separation plant

Abstract

A new type of condenser-evaporator is developed with small temperature difference and large heat transfer coefficient. Its heat transfer coefficient is increased by 50% compared with the traditional one. Both its volume and weight are reduced by 1/3 compared with the traditional one. Its total temperature difference for heat transfer is only 0.57 K and is the minimum one compared with the current products.
