Abstract

The mutual inductance coupling between power circuit and control/drive circuit is main EMI approach inside a hybrid integrated power electronic module (IPEM) with low voltage and high current. In order to evaluate the effect of EMI, the coupling mutual inductance needs to be calculated accurately. This paper studies this problem. Firstly, the HF circulation current problem of power circuit is analyzed; secondly, an effective modeling and calculation method based on partial element equivalent circuit (PEEC) is proposed to calculate the coupling mutual inductance; Finally, the simulation and experiment verify the calculation results and show that the HF circulation current analysis and the mutual inductance calculation method to evaluate EMI are correct and effective.
