Abstract
Based on a single phase isothermal model, multiple Relation Times (MRT) Boltzmann method was employed in this study to investigate the multiple physics process, such as fluid flows, species transport, and electrochemistry reaction, in a dead-ended proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) anode in pore scale. The operating conditions, such as operation temperature and pressure, were studied. The result reveals that the model can predict the multiple physics process well. A dead-ended mode can improve the performance of PEMFC in some extent, and operation temperature and pressure influence the PEMFC performance.
