Monte Carlo simulations of site percolation on the directed square lattice

Abstract

Monte Carlo simulations have been used to investigate inconsistencies in the exponent estimates for directed percolation in two dimensions reported by other authors. Our results are consistent with γ = 2.268 ± 0.008 and the scaling relation γ0 = γ-Dν.
