title = "Modeling and parameters design using current-controlled mode active harmonic resistor for resonance damping",
abstract = "Active harmonic resistor (AHR) has been proposed to damp the resonance caused by reactive compensation capacitors and line inductance in power system. In this paper, a specific current-controlled method for AHR is proposed and modeled firstly, and then the design strategy for AHR optimal resistor value is studied in detail. Simulation and laboratory experiment results proved that using this proposed current control method the AHR impedance characteristics can simulate a resistor in a wide band and AHR can suppress the harmonic amplification significantly.",
