Abstract
A wear resistance TiFe/β-Ti composite coating was fabricated on titanium alloy TA15 by laser cladding using the Ti-Fe alloy powder. The composition, microstructure and wear resistance of the coating were studied. The results show that the coating has high hardness and excellent wear resistance under dry sliding wear test conditions at room temperature.
