Abstract
An optical experimental system for measuring the mass diffusivity of nanofluids is designed. The mass diffusivity of Rhodamine B in nanofluids (Cu-glycol and Cu-water) with different particle volume fractions under different temperatures are measured. The experimental results show that the mass diffusivity of Rhodamine B in nanofluids is bigger than that in deionized water, the mass diffusivity diffusion increases with the increase of particle volume fraction. For different particle volume fractions, the mass diffusivity also increases with the increase of temperature.
