Abstract
This paper describes the method of measurement ultrafast electrical pulses with a gain switch semiconductor laser and a LiTaO3 probe tip. The resuite are presented. The results are comparable to the digital sampling oscilloscope with 20GHZ bandwidth. The minimum detectable voltage is 1.54mv,the temporal resolution is 25ps.The voltage sensitivity of 5.4uv/√Hz.This system has compactness stability and broad application prospects.
