Load Frequency Control of Networked Multi-Area Power Systems under DoS Attack and Actuator Failure

Abstract

This paper studies the load frequency control problem of multi-area power systems under denial-of-service (DoS) attack and actuator failure. Bernoulli process is used to represent the stochastic DoS attack. A decentralized reliable control law is proposed. Based on the Lyapunov function, a sufficient condition is presented to ensure the bounded stability of closed-loop multiarea power systems and guarantee the existence of controller gain. Finally, simulation results are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the developed control strategy.
