Abstract

Two micellar cubic phases with different structures were observed for the first time in the order Im3¯m–Pm3¯n in a thermotropic phase sequence of 4,6-diaminotriazine terminated rod-like liquid crystals upon increasing alkyl chain length or rising temperature.
