Lie group analysis and dynamical behavior for classical Boussinesq–Burgers system

Abstract

In this paper we consider classical Boussinesq–Burgers system. Lie group method is used to analyze the system in detail, and the system is reduced into ODEs under the Lie symmetries. Then exact traveling wave solutions of classical Boussinesq–Burgers system are obtained by simplest equation method. Further classical Boussinesq–Burgers system is shown to be self-adjoint and the new conservation laws of system are constructed for the first time. The dynamical behaviors of classical Boussinesq–Burgers system are analyzed.
