Abstract

In this paper, we examine the knowledge transfer process on community networks by analyzing the average knowledge level as a function of the agent's absorptive capacity. It is found that the average knowledge level decreases with the increment of inner-community links and the decreases of intercommunity links when we keep the total links (including innercommunity and inter-community links) constant. It is also shown that as for inner-community (inter-community) links unvaried, the increment of inter-community (inner-community) will promote average knowledge level.
