Abstract
The morphological changes accompanying isothermal thickening in C198H398 are studied by electron microscopy. The crystal morphologies confirm previous assertions that thickening occurs in a single step from once‐folded to extended chains and suggest solution‐mediated nucleation of the thickened crystal followed by rapid spreading via solid‐state diffusion.
