Abstract

On the basis of analyzing the working principle, advantages and defects of several foreign synthetic test equipments, and according to the technical guidance on current intensity of high voltage series valve distributed by CIGRE and the test standards on the valves for SVC and HVDC distributed by IEC, a main current scheme of a new type of versatile synthetic test equipment is proposed. Through the improvement of high voltage resonance circuit, the operational test circuit for the bi-directional valves for SVC and HVDC is improved; the voltage of HV circuit is risen to 75kV by means of replacing the large current source by AC and DC power-supply system. The proposed main circuit is suitable to the operational tests of one-way valve component in HVDC and the bi-directional valves at SVC and TCSC at voltage level of ±600kV.
