Abstract
Objective: To investigate the manifestations of ultrasound contrast sonogram in acute gastric mucosa injury. Methods: Totally 16 adult hybird dogs were randomized into a normal control group and an experimental group. Acute gastric mucosa injury models were made in the experimental group. The gastric ultrasound sonogram was observed and recorded after each dog was injected with the new type UCA through gastric tubes. The stomaches of the dogs in the two groups were cut out, and their stomach tissues were cut into slices, dyed, and observed under microscope, which would be compared with the sonogram. Results: The ultrasound sonogram showed that the stomaches of dogs in the control group were filled with UCA well, the structure of gastric wall could display clearly on 5 layers -"strong-weak-strong-weak-strong". Compared with that in the control group, the sonogram of the experimental gastric antrum wall in dogs displayed much thicker, and the first, second and three-layer were mixed with each other resulting in more strengthened echo. Conclusion: The structure of gastric wall in the normal and acute gastric mucosa injury of dogs could display clearly by gastrointestinal contrast ultrasound, which has a diagnostic value for acute gastric mucosa injury.
