Abstract

This paper focuses on an internal pricing mechanism that enables the energy management sector of an industrial enterprise to offer internal price signals to guide the power consumption of units, thereby reducing the total electricity cost of the enterprise by encouraging units to save their internal electricity fees. The proposed mechanism allows the energy management to control the loads through price signal and to schedule the industrial power plant according to the total load of the enterprise. For the purpose of saving the total electricity cost of the enterprise, the internal price signal must satisfy some necessary conditions, and these conditions are discussed in this paper. In the proposed mechanism, we also prove that units' interest is in accordance with the enterprise's interest, and the total electricity cost reduction can be achieved by units' actions to save their internal electricity fees. The energy management sector can also achieve balance between income and expenditure.
