Abstract

In this paper, we propose a distributed multi-cell symbol-level precoding (SLP) scheme for signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR) balancing. In the scheme, the multi-cell SLP problem is transformed into multiple single-cell SLP problem assuming known contribution factors which are shared among neighboring base stations (BSs) and are defined as measurements of the contributions of the corresponding transmit signals from each BS to the users. We further develop an iterative closed-form algorithm for our scheme with lower complexities. Simulation results validate the superiority of the proposed scheme over traditional precoding schemes, and also demonstrate the significant computation efficiency improvement of the proposed iterative closed-form algorithm.
