Abstract
According to the structure and load characteristics of casing thread joints, analysis are made using the finite element mixed method and object-oriented programming technique. The influence of pitch errors on loaded casing thread joints is studied. The load distributions on each casing thread are given for different pitch fitting of the internal and external threads. Selection of pitch tolerance of casing threads could thus be made for references in design.
