Abstract

Based on the elastic theory, dynamics and raceway control theory of the rolling bearing, inner ring centrifugal displacement of angular contact ball bearing was calculated, considering the influence of inner ring centrifugal displacement the comprehensive method and its corresponding program were given for calculating the contact stiffness of balls and inner/outer raceways and radial, axial, angular stiffness of the whole bearing. Taking 7012/CD bearing as an example, the results show that, inner ring centrifugal displacement increases with the increase of rotation speed, when rotation speed is high its value is large and cannot be neglected; inner ring centrifugal displacement has great influence on inner contact stiffness of balls and bearing radial stiffness, in consideration of this influence inner contact stiffness of balls and inner ring and bearing radial stiffness increases comparatively and it has little influence on outer contact stiffness of balls, axial stiffness and angular stiffness of the bearing; inner ring centrifugal displacement increases with the increase of rotation speed, its influence on bearing stiffness becomes more significant. Therefore, in order to make analysis of bearing stiffness more accurate and close to the factual condition, the influence of bearing inner ring centrifugal displacement must be considered.
