abstract = "In order to study the influence of B2O3 on phases and metallurgical properties of high Ti- bcaring vanadium-titanomagnetite sinter, the content of liquid phase and compositions of solid phases about the sinter were calculated by Factsage 6.2 according to the practical sintering production. The sintering pot tests were carried out for checking the prediction of Factsage software. Also, the phase transition of low temperature reduction was given for the mechanism of B2O3 on metallurgical properties of this kind of sinter. The results showed that B2O 3 can decrease the melting characteristic temperature and increase the content of liquid phase effectively for vanadium-titanomagnetite sinter, which can improve metallurgical properties of the sinter. The prediction of Factsage was in accordance with the test results of sinter pot. Meanwhile, compositions and content of solid phases changed with the increase of B 2O3 which also was bcneficial for sinter metallurgical properties.",
