Abstract

On the basis of analyzing the marketing mechanism of Zhejiang provincial electricity market, a Web-based electricity market simulation system is designed and its implementation way is developed on .NET platform. The system can simulate the operation of Zhejiang provincial electricity market, calculate the market clearing prices (MCP) and market clearing quantities (MCQ), optimize the unit commitment and dispatch within the generating companies and analyze the profit for each individual generating company. The systems have the advantages of good extensibility and maintainability and provide an effective aid decision-making supporting tool for market organizer and participants.
