Abstract

Taking the 28 manufacturing industries in Pan Yangtze River Delta Area including four provinces and one city as study sample, on the one hand, agglomeration degree's spatial correlation of representative industries were tested by Moran's I index and scatter graph, and the relations between industrial transfer and industrial cluster were investigated from the view of space-time. On the other hand, the impact of peripheral industrial transfer on industrial cluster was tested by spatial panel models. We found that the peripheral industrial transfer has significantly positive impacts on the industrial cluster, which verified that acceptance of industrial transfer is an important way of industrial cluster. In addition, we also found that there are different impacts of industrial transfer on different period industries and the impacts declined with the direction of industry evolution, which confirmed the law that industrial transfer always begin from inferior industries.
