Abstract

The net is the main component of a cage, and the force law of the net is a key content when designing mooring systems for fish farms. In this work, the mode vibration of the cage under currents and waves is carried out through fluid-solid coupling simulation. Through the method of modal analysis, this work proposes an explanation method for some existing inductive conclusions and an approach is also provided to design the cage structure. The cage is a weakly nonlinear system, and its nonlinear characteristics are studied. To monitor the status of the cage, a detection method based on the mode vibration of the cage is proposed.
