Abstract

Hybrid augmented intelligence (HAI) refers to integrating human’s intelligence into the intelligent machine to form a human–machine collaborative system, which is stronger than human or machine alone. These kinds of human–machine systems appear in two categories, human-in-the-loop HAI and brain-inspired HAI. HAI provides an ultimate trustworthy approaches to develop artificial intelligence.
