Abstract

Based on the demand for the partial discharge on-line monitoring for GIS, a high frequency and broadband signal-conditioning circuit for PD on-line monitoring for GIS is developed using the RF circuit design theory. The circuit has functions as multi-plexer channel selector and variable gain amplifier with ranges from 1 MHz to 150 MHz. And it can realize the multiple-channel measuring and signal conditioning for PD signals of GIS. After the laboratory research and field test, the circuit has been successfully applied in the PD on-line monitoring system for GIS.
