Guest Editorial: Special issue on the 8th Asian Symposium on Computational Heat Transfer and Fluid Flow (ASCHT 2021)

Abstract

The 8th Asian Symposium on Computational Heat Transfer and Fluid Flow (ASCHT2021), as a continuation of the series initiated in 2007, was held in Qingdao, China, from September 23rd to 26th, 2021. This conference has become an essential platform for exchanging new ideas and creating knowledge about the latest advances in theories, analyses, and applications of computational methods involving scientists and engineers from Asia and other regions. Of the 346 papers submitted to ASCHT2021, 277 papers were chosen for the proceedings. Subsequently, 20 of these papers were meticulously selected for publication in this Special issue after an extensive additional peer review process by renowned international experts. The selection for the Special Issue aimed to ensure the high quality of contributions anticipated to impact future research and development significantly. All papers presented in ASCHT2021 contributed high-quality content, fostering significant discussions among participants, which is expected to enhance the quality of future submissions for upcoming events.
