Abstract
With oil, gas, water as working fluids, the experimental studies of frictional pressure drop characteristics of oil-gas, gas-water two-phase flow in vertical helically coiled tubes were carried out. The coil diameter of the test section was 265 mm and the inner tube diameter was 39 mm. The effect of flowrate, liquid properties on friction pressure drop was discussed and analyzed, and finally the formula of frictional pressure drop of air-water, oil-gas two-phase flow was developed and compared with experimental data, the maximum deviations of oil-gas and water-gas flow between each other are within 30% and 20%, respectively.
