Abstract
The flow of mixing layer is the prototype of many flows and attacted many researchers. The investigation of gas-liquid two-phase mixing layer flow is helpful to understand the mechanism interaction between dispersed bubbles and large scale coherent structure. In present paper single-phase and gas-liquid bubbly two-phase plane mixing layer flow was visualized when Reynolds number is 1819. The aggregation of different vortices in single-phase mixing layer flow was analyzed and compared with the bubbly mixing layer flow at the same condition. Finally the influence of bubble existence on the vortices aggregation was obtained.
