Abstract
A finite element scheme using harmonic balance is developed for analyzing magnetic field described by polynomial. The algorithm is similar to that used for the nonlinear DC magnetic field. This is in contrast to the AC magnetic field calculation involving saturation characteristics that would requires much iteration and memory space. The method is applied to compute the magnetic field of a reactor.
