Abstract

A new LiTaO, type ferroelectric hydroxofluoride phase belonging to the LiTa0,-“LiMgF,”-“LiMg(OH),” system has been prepared by solid state reaction. High densified ceramics have been obtained. The Curie temperature increases with the Mg2+-Tas+ substitution, slowly for the compensated anionic substitution F-02- and more significantly for the (HO)-O*- one.
