Abstract

The COVID - 19 outbreak reflects the urgent need to improve China’s disease prevention and control system and the shortage of high - level public health personnel. Taking COVID - 19 outbreak as the breakthrough point, we aimed to explore how to integrate ideological elements into the teaching of the course “Public Health Emergencies Prevention and Control”, upgrade medical graduate students’professional literacy in dealing with public health emergencies, improve their social responsibility and mission and set up good medical ethics. Furthermore, we encouraged the teachers to strengthen their ideological and political concepts and elements in more flexible ways, cultivate high -level medical talents for the construction of a healthy China.
