Abstract
With the development of deep-sea wind power generation, reducing transmission costs and increasing transmission capacity become increasingly important. Fractional frequency transmission systems have unique advantages in balancing high stability and low cost within a certain distance range. As a key device in fractional frequency transmission systems, fractional frequency wind turbines have important practical implications. Against the backdrop of the current technical status of wind turbines, this paper analyzes the fractional frequency conversion schemes of permanent magnet synchronous generators and doubly-fed induction generators, summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of various schemes, and highlights the superiority of half-direct drive permanent magnet synchronous generators and stator-controlled high-speed doubly-fed induction generators. Drawing on the characteristics of fractional frequency transmission systems and wind turbines, this paper introduces the work of domestic and foreign scholars in the innovation of wind turbine topology, and provides corresponding fractional frequency conversion schemes for generators. It summarizes the research status and development trends in this field, supporting the large-scale promotion of fractional frequency power generation and transmission systems.
