Abstract
In the present paper, the effects of wall temperature oscillation and inclined angle of enclosure on the transient heat transfer performance of natural convection are experimentally studied in the porous media enclosure. The enclosure is filled with water and glass balls. For one side wall, the temperature is kept as constant, while it varies time-periodically for the opposing side wall. The result indicates that the net heat flux across the porous media enclosure is always transferred from the lower side wall to the upper side wall.
