Experimental study on the indicating diagram of a hermetic composite gear-type compressor

Abstract

The composite gear-type compressor is a new type of rotary compressor with partial built-in compressing process. The pressure-balance process, in which the gas with high pressure mixed with the gas with low pressure, exists inherently in its thermodynamic process. The dynamic pressure in the working cell is measured by properly locating the transducer. From the variety of dynamic pressure tested, it is found that the pressure-balance process and the pressure-raising process, in which the gas of discharge pressure flows rapidly into the working cell, is isometric process. Experimental results demonstrate that isometric process is characteristic of rotary compressor with partial built-in compressing process.
