Abstract

A new setup for interfacial characteristics study during bubble dissolution based on Profile Analysis Tensiometry (PAT) is developed. And the investigations on nitrogen and helium bubble are carried out. The experimental results indicate the decrease of surface tension during bubble dissolution, which means the equilibrium concentration state at the interface is broken by the substance transfer across the interface, and is determined by the molecules transfer rate into the liquid.
