Abstract
A large number of low concentration methane gas is emitted directly into the atmosphere during the coal production, resulting in a serious waste of energy and the greenhouse effect. Aiming at the shortcomings of conventional coal mine methane enrichment technology existed, the papar presented separation and enrichment coal mine methane with the Soret effect. The theoretical analysis proposed the main parameters of the enrichment process is the initial methane concentrations and the temperature gradient. The effect law of these parameters is studied by experiments and numerical simulations.
