Abstract
Through on-site tests a study was conducted of the use of correlation identification for the parameter identification of a steam turbine governing system. As a result, it is discovered that during the parallel operation of steam turbines it is possible to realize the parameter identification of the governing system with the help of the excitation generated by the slope-maintaining signal set by a synchronizer. The time constants and parameters of the governing system and various links obtained in this way are relatively accurate. This demonstrates that the use of correlation identification for the parameter identification of the steam turbine governing system can ensure reliable and accurate results, providing a solid basis for the on-line identification and condition-monitoring of the governing system.
