Abstract

Using the direct observation method, PDF and the bed expand method to research the macroscopical character and pressure fluctuation of different flow regimes of gas-liquid two-phase flow in WFGD tower. Three regimes are detected in tower, which are liquid-column flow, gasping flow, and bubbly flow. Offer a flow regimes map of liquid-gas ratio (L/g) versus gas Reynolds number (Reg) and hydromechanical parameters of flow regimes transition.
