Abstract
New LiTaO3-type ferroelectric hydroxofluoride phases belonging to the LiTaO3-"LiMgF3"-"LiMg(OH)3" system have been prepared by solid state reaction. The strongly densified ceramics show increased permittivity near the phase transition temperature, the value of which rises with the OH- concentration.
