Abstract

To search a uniform theoretical model with high precision for estimating isobaric heat capacity, based on Peng-Robinson equation of state (P-R) and modified M-H equation of state (M-H81) which are both general and with high precision, the calculation equations to estimate isobaric heat capacity of real fluid were deduced by using residual function method, and general programs were written respectively. Aiming at 10 refrigerants, corresponding constants appearing in M-H81 equation of state known in advance for obtaining the values of isobaric heat capacity were calculated in a broad temperature range. For target refrigerants, estimation of isobaric heat capacity and furthermore validation can be done by employing this theoretical method.
