N2 - Gradient structure tensor is extensively used in attributes extraction, such as dip, azimuth, and discontinuity detection. However, the existing faults and other discontinuous structures would affect the precision of dip/azimuth estimation. In this abstract, we propose to combine gradient structure and multi-window technology to estimate the dip and azimuth. The results of synthetic example and field-data example show the correctness and validity of our method.
