Abstract
An equivalent two source phase domain method for calculating interline fault in the double circuit line is presented. According to the theory of the two-port network, the complicated network is reduced into a simple network with only two faulted nodes. In the phase domain, the complicated interline fault is simply simulated by connecting the nodes of the two equivalent source. The proposed algorithm has many advantages: (1) it is briefly to treat the complicated interline fault, and the influence of faulted point resistor can be modeled simply; (2) the complex connections between sequence networks are avoided in fault calculations; (3) it is precise. The numerical example shows that the method is much more effective to calculate interline fault.
