Abstract

This paper proposes a voltage stability emergency control strategy to coordinate multiple types of regulation resources including grid-forming energy storage, synchronous condenser, and loads. Firstly, a voltage stability prediction model is established based on SE module and CNN, and the mapping of control quantity and voltage stability level is revealed. Secondly, the reactive power regulation characteristics of multiple resources is analyzed, and the improvement effect of various control resources on voltage stability level is evaluated based on control sensitivity index. Finally, an emergency control coordination strategy for power grid voltage stability is proposed. The power regulation characteristics of grid-forming energy storage module were analyzed in PSASP, and the validity of the proposed approach was demonstrated in the test system with voltage instability issues.
