abstract = "In the presented paper, it is shown the results of the theoretical contemplations aimed at discovering some extremal values of the generalized socio-technical air transport managerial technology objective functional. The integral functional contains the technology alternatives effectiveness functions preferences. The multi-alternativeness of the aviation transport management operational situation is taken into account with the measure of the operational generalized air transport management situation uncertainty. This measure is the entropy of the attainable alternatives preferences. It is considered the set of three achievable for the managing individual alternatives. The set is treated as an available alternatives set. In fact, the problem is connected with the case when there are preferences functions dealing with the choices. It implies the features of the intelligent system{\textquoteright}s cognitive properties. The simplest calculus of variations problem deals with a specific combination of the controlled effectiveness functions parameters. The theoretical background of subjective analysis is used for the problem formulation and solution. The analogy is the Jaynes{\textquoteright} principle. A couple of solutions are obtained based upon the system of the Euler-Lagrange equations. The found solutions optimize managing efforts.",
