Abstract

The alignment of hydrogen molecules during their ionization by an electron has been determined and hence paved the way to observe fully differential (e,2e) cross-sections in the molecular frame. Using a reaction microscope, all alignment directions and scattering geometries were studied at the same time giving rise to the first comprehensive set off such cross-sections.
