Abstract

A stage-structured model of population growth in a polluted environment is proposed. The main purpose of this paper is to study the effect of stage structure on population growth in a polluted environment. Some sufficient conditions on permanence and extinction of the population have been obtained, and it is shown that the number of population changes periodically under appropriate assumption.
