Abstract

PMN-32%PT polycrystal was prepared by Bridgman-ACRT method. Specimens were annealed for 300 hours at the temperature of 950°C. The microstructures of the specimens were investigated with optical and atomic force microscopy. The results indicated that in the microstructure of annealed specimen there were some grain-boundary precipitates in which no ferroelectric domains could be observed. Domain strips corresponded with each other at the grain boundaries in as growth specimens. But in annealed specimens, this kind of correspondence disappeared.
